LUSAKA RESIDENTS

One of the authors once said a city is not a concrete jungle, it is a human zoo.
This is true about Dubai everyone wants to see how beautiful it, because a zoo is everyone's yearning.
The late ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, decided to have the waterway dredged. It was an ambitious, costly, and visionary project. When oil was discovered in 1966, Sheikh Rashid Utilized the oil revenues to spur infrastructure development in Dubai.
I look forward to a time when a person going for mayor, will think in those lines to put to good use the copper and the interlinked Lusaka town.
Dubai has the main entrepot in the Persian Gulf and the busiest trading port since 1900, with commerce being the main source of revenue for emirate.
Lusaka as an interlinked city we could put copper, tourism and agriculture, for agriculture a mayor could ensure that all entry points for farming produce from various provinces have cold rooms.
The merchant class in Dubai played a key role in restructuring the economy and government decision making in the pre- oil era of Dubai's development.
Lusaka needs a Mayor who is going to help governments decisions to diversify from copper based reliant economy to one that is service and tourism or agriculture oriented this will help Lusaka and Zambia to reach its apex. Which can result into real estates in lusaka and other developments more valuable, resulting in the property boom from 2018, 2021 and beyond. When the capital city moved from Livingston in 1935 people thought we shall have a powerful city well planned, but this isn't the case. But nothing is impossible possible is success, we need a Redeemer!!!!
Lusaka is connected by major roads to Tanzania, Chipata, Chirundu, Livingston and to all parts of Zambia.
I know a population of more than 1.8 million will this month of the 26th choose a Redeemer to revive Lusaka and start a miles step to the desired Lusaka city for all lusaka dwellers. We need a mayor who is futuristic in thinking a mayor who thinks 10,000 years beyond if possible.
For so long we have escorted jokers, looter's to luxury, it is this time that on the 26th july, 2018 we shall send a clear signal to those in position of influence and people who think leadership is for ma vinaaaa apaaa peveaaa tifuna a mayor with a heart for lusaka residents and has a good plan for road network, airports, transportation systems either railway or buses. We want to see a different face for Lusaka.
